Meet Maya Raquel Smith! Maya is a New York City based singer, actor, and dancer with big dreams and a bigger heart! Some of her favorite roles she has performed include Tracy Turnblad (Hairspray), Sour Kangaroo (Suessical), Dragon (Shrek: The Musical) and Jenny Lind (The Greatest Showman Revue).  

        With experience as a classically trained vocalist, Maya has worked not only on the stage as a triple threat musical theater performer but also as a vocal coach, director, dance captain, and choreographer with the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Kings Park Dance Center, and Rock and Roll U!

        Maya is a proud graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy Conservatory Integrated Musical Theater program. Additionally, as a multiracial performer Maya is comfortable working in English and Spanish and can quickly pick up accents and dialects.
